Kurowski's Getting Noticed

The three-time America East Rookie of the Week, UMBC guard Michelle Kurowski, was featured by Newsday's Marcus Henry in Sunday's hometown spotlight. Kurowski comes from Hicksville, N.Y. on Long Island where she is the third-highest scorer in the area's girls basketball history with 2,581 points.
