More In Depth Look At Ms. Maine

As reported a couple of weeks ago, former University of Maine basketball standout Ashley Underwood was named Ms. Maine USA and will compete in the Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas next April. The Portland Press Herald ran a much more in-depth feature into Underwood's life now, and how she's always dreamed of competing in pageants despite being a tomboy. Underwood still is a regular at Black Bear games, and was in attendance last Sunday in Cambridge when Maine took on Harvard at Lavietes Pavilion.
